Green Butterfly is not a traditional publisher. New authors are welcome to benefit from marketing advice and publishing services are offered on an ad-hoc basis. Those already self-published can learn how to work smarter instead of harder. Traditionally published authors can increase their visibility and build credibility while authors not satisfied with their traditional publishers can regain more control over their business.
Old-Fashioned Values
I’m Heather (Bryan) Buford; I’ve been in the publishing industry since the mid 1980’s with over 20yrs customer service, 8yrs tech support and a degree in Journalism. So I guess you could say I’m a flexible people reader, creative problem solver with a degree in customer engagement. I’m the creative and social half to Cory’s new age technology.
After I met Cory in 2000, I helped with lead generation, mailing lists and customer service. My day job offers me the flexibility to meet outside of normal business hours for training and other technical support as a Certified Apple Sales Professional; equally proficient in PC. I also volunteer my time at local churches and other organisations to connect those in need with resources as they learn to become self sufficient.
New-Age Technology
Hey there! Cory Buford here. I built my first Web site in 1997 to help people crowdsource and crowdfund their dreams.
My first Commodore 64 in 1989 showed me a digital frontier to reshape the human condition. For the next 7yrs I exchanged ideas and shared resources on over 40 local computer bulletin boards then found a way to unite these communities.
As I worked on my degrees in Information Systems & Operations Management (Supply Chain Management) and Marketing, I grew to understand the opportunities and challenges my Uncle Bob enjoyed as an Entrepreneur and the positive influence my Uncle Mark had on entire families as a Human Resource Manager. How then could I help others enjoy the same success?
I built my first affiliate site in 2004 and wrote everything from advertising copy to in-depth technical reviews to supplement my income. Fortunately, by the time I was downsized, I already made a little money from my affiliate sites and had helped others do the same with a then new blogging concept known as WordPress.
